So that event I went to last night lead me to this bit of fun. This covers some of the themes brought up during discussion of the evening.

Further investigation of the site unveiled these Cool and Cooler bits, and this interesting idea which could happen at Alameda Air Station.

I was particularly amused to randomly encounter twic's comments there. ;-

One late statement by a City Supervisor on the idea of a East-West and North-South street completely limited to bicycles in my fair city has been widely circulated.

Airship Ventures launches it's marketing wing. They plan local regional flights only for now, but hey, I'm all for it. AIRSHIP LUV!

With California sun streaming down on comfortable streets, flying down hills on my bicycle, it's put me in a Negroni mood. Bless those Italians, they know what to do with these conditions. :-)

Among the things I missed on TV...news of Angel Island afire! Presently 75% contained, but what an ugly fire. I was somewhat worried about this while the Blue Angels were flying overhead.

Just the sort of dessication that is afflicting much of my state right now. :-/
